Flexiteek is a fantastic product in Beneteau cockpits. As you can see from the photos it is a great way to tidy up the old teak and always have the areas lookING like new. This particular boat wanted borders around the edge. It is possible to have no borders around the edge as the teak originally was on this vessel - this will also reduces the cost.
When the old teak is removed the recesses in the seats are filled to lift the level of the Flexiteek to the same height as the gelcoat. This is done with either filler or with thin plywood glassed and glued into the recess. This project took two and a half weeks to complete.
